I know this isn't a military group but I like everyone here (and their
thoughts) so this is where I'm gonna ask my question. Plus it's fun
reading everyones guess. On Discovery Wings they were showing a
couple of F-14's fighting a few Libian (I think) Migs. They played
the actual audio from this confrontation. The pilots keep calling out
their "Angels". Anyone know what those are?

"Angels" are altitudes. I think it's in thousands of freet.

It's possible there had been armed autonomous droids at some point in
the past, and one can almost imagine past issues of that galaxy's Risks
Digest. -- Anthony DeBoer, on SW: TPM

Additionally, I think there is a base altitude that they use as a
reference point for security. Base altitude + angels = actual altitude.

Yep

Angels 10 = 10,000 feet altitude.

WW II usage would be "120 bogies at angels 10."
