View Full Version : The shortest contest career ever

After returning to soaring after many years and getting up to speed
flying a fair amount of OLC/XC using XCSoar, I finally feel competent
enough to enter a contest. Now I find that I can not use XCSoar
because of a some lines of a disabled code. LINES OF DISABLED CODE!!

It is silly to prohibit the use of XCSoar because of this, and just as
silly not to remove that part of the code. I have used XCSoar for five
years or more and had no idea that the code was there, and also am not
at all interested in using it for anything other than navigation and
glide calculations.

Oh well, people dig their heels in and this is the result. One hell of
a way to promote soaring.

Mike: It will get sorted out. Please email me what hardware you are
running XCSoar on and what the GPS any other inputs are.
