Hi Pilots,
The 2012 Colorado Performance Soaring Seminar is less than two weeks
away. We have a large response with over 100 pilots signed up on
Evite. If you haven’t reserved a spot, please RSVP to the site ASAP.
If you haven’t received an Evite, please contact me and I will send
one immediately.
The details:
• March 10, 2012, 9:00 AM SHARP. (If the weather is really going to
be bad, watch your email for a new date)
• National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, Colorado
• Brown Bag Lunch. (Bring your own lunch as there is no food on-site)
Here is the speaker line-up (the order might change):
• Quay Snyder, MD: Hypoxia and Physiological Issues for Pilots
• John Seaborn: Outlandings
• Elke Fuglsang-Petersen: Parachutes
• Lee Kuhlke: Power Flarm Update
• Frank Whiteley: Soaring Awards and SSA update
• Bif Huss: Team Flying and Mentoring: The Navy Way
• Pedja Bogdanovich: Santa Fe Out and Return
• Dave Leonard: Practical Weather Forecasting for Soaring
• Mark Matticola: New Aircraft and Training at the Air Force Academy
• Wolf Herold: Soaring Fantasy (note that Wolf’s appearance is
tentative at the moment)
The event will be web cast. You do not need to reply to Evite but you
will need to register. Here are the details:
