Winter 80mm vario

We would like to replace the current vario in our 1-26 and wonder if
anyone has a Winter 80mm vario in knots that they would be interested
in selling?

I have an 80mm Winter TE vario in FPM that I would sell or trade for a
57mm TE in knots or FPM same or equal value.

What is the response time of your Winter vario Blake?

Steve, I have an interesting Winter variometer ( feet/min ) combined with a
airspeedindicator ( knots ) with shows the speed to fly as well. I can send
you details if you give are interested.

That would be the old Winter Stolfahrtbergaber (spelling)
these were really neat, the first true speed to fly variometer......but they
are specific to each sailplane type and Winter No longer has parts to
rebuild these.....I had the last one overhauled some 10-15 years ago and
Winter said at that time they could fix no more for lack of parts....
