If so, does it actually work as described in the literature and is it
difficult to set up?

Thanks,

Mike,

I have a Westerboer 1150 box and I am very happy with it. It worked
like a charm right out of the box last season. I was able to connect
the VW1050 to my PC via a Hyperterminal to look at the settings but
didn't have to change anything. The factory settings are the one
described in the manual.

I have a Mio400 PNA with LK8000 connected to the VW1150. It worked
well last season.. The latest V3.0 release of LK8000 software will
allow to communicate bi-directionally between the WV1020 and the
LK8000 software via the VW1150. I have not tried it just yet.

Thank you.

I am interested in the data transfer between the VW1020, Power Flarm
and a Streak running XCSoar, and have no experience with it. I will
have to make some adapters I think.
