With the explosion of PNA's/Tablets on the market and the availability
of powerful soaring software that can run on them, it would seem that
some sort of air-data pack could be developed that would allow a PNA
to get pitot/static information for accurate wind and STF info. I know
this is available thru various vario and flight computer systems out
there, but what about a dedicated unit simple enough and designed for
just making the PNA more functional.

I know I would be very interested in such a "data-pack"

One problem - it also provides attitude info so it would be illegal in
contests.
