Hi All,

Had an incident today where a 2-32 canopy flew open in flight while on
tow and hitting some rotor. Long story short, successful landing, but
the cromoly tubing frame of the canopy is severely sprung and needs to
be repaired or replaced. Would anyone happen to know where abouts of
a 2-32 canopy frame? Sheet metal and plexiglass parts not necessarily
needed, just the steel frame....

Thanks
Steve

Same thing happened to us a few years back - the lugs on the cocpit
rail get worn, esp if the frame is sprung a little, as most are. Call
Les at K&L soaring for parts and dwgs.

We had wing and tail damage,as well. Hope that did not happen to
you. Glide ratio was severly affected and did not quite make it back
to the runway...
