I'm looking for accelerated IFR written training programs. I have picked
up the gliem audio review program and started listening to it, but it is
a bit boring and difficult to concentrate on :)

Any other programs that are alittle more automated? I've thought about
the american flyers program, both DVD and lecture program. Any comments?

Mark,

I am just about ready ti take my IFR written. Just as in my Private I
have used the Gleim Testing CD's . I like these CD's because you acan
set them us to look exactly like when you actually take the test. For
me since my testing center is LaserGrade I just tell the program to
format everything just like LasaerGrade. I love that then the only
difference when you take the test is that you are at a different
location and out some money of course ( I think my private test was
$70.00).

For 2 weeks prior to taking the exam I would take a 60 question test
and see how I did. I got a 92 on my private which I was pleased with.
Good luck to you.

I used the Gliem CD-ROM program and passed my IFR written with a 96%.

Have you looked at flight tech...

I used their tapes for the PPL Written and Checkride.

Are the tapes any good.... I passed both tests (98% on written).
