How is it to fly in this club? Thinking becoming a member.

What are line chiefs? is it require to help the line?

Is the club open every Thursday, as well as week-ends?

One of the best and biggest clubs in the US. Very well funded and has a lot of good aircraft for flying. As stated on their website, they are open Thursday and weekends and other times when the weather is good. Where are you located?

I can only come twice a month. I would rather fly, and perhaps help with what I can, but certainly not whole day, if that's the only time I have available to fly. So once again, is it required to become a "line chief"?

Is it possible to fly more than 1 hr at one time, or is this another requirement when busy?

TSA is a volunteer organization and we desperately depend on members to
keep it running. We appreciate any and all help we can get. As far as
line chief duty goes, we ask that members help out with this duty about
twice a year.
If there is no one else on the waiting list, then an aircraft is
available for longer than an hour duration.
We do have several aircraft that can be signed out for cross country for
the day as an option.

Also, right up the road from TSA at Midlothian Airport, there is a
commercial glider operation run by Carol Walker. You might prefer with
limited time. Google Big-Q aviation for more details.
