Finally got through all the photo editing. Like usual the lighting is
HORRIBLE at McGuire, so I went to the parking lot and tried my luck
from there. 99% of the aerial stuff was from there. The highlights for
me were all static. I left right after the Lancer demo, didn't stick
around for the Thunderbirds. Wasn't going to get stuck in traffic for
something I've seen a dozen times.

Nice show series!

Interesting that it was at McGuire AFB.
I happened to have a $1 bill from my father's "short snorter" with
Lindbergh, McGuire and DeHaven signatures. My father got these in 1944
when Lindbergh flew as my father's wingman on a mission from Biak
Island to Borneo with the 49th FG. McGuire flew as a member of the 5th
AF HQ group. My father was an element leader in the 9th Fighter Sqn,
and DeHaven was one of the 7th Fighter Sqn. aces.
This was part of Lindbergh's tour through the SW Pacific training in
techniques to extend the range of 5AF P-38s.
McGuire signed as Tom "Mac" McGuire. Considering his death on Los
Negros Island it is probably far rarer than the Lindbergh or DeHaven
sigs.
