A Twin Squirrel has come down near Hurstbourne Tarrant in
Hampshire, 3 people are reported to have been killed. This is
next to my airfield (Bourne Park).

It was reported to have just taken off from Thruxton. I was
watching some helicopters flying at Thruxton on Wednesday while
having lunch there (flew in for fuel), including what looked like a
squirrel.

A Squirrel is a helicopter. A Twin Squirrel is one with two engines.

The Squirrel is (now) otherwise known as the Eurocopter AS350. The

Aircraft was owned/operated by FAST Helicopters. Pilot was Ian Shoebridge,
ex AAC with 9k+ hours. Flew with him about 15 years ago as P2 - nice guy.
