View Full Version : GPS data for non-aviation GPS

I did a little slicing and dicing of the NIMA aviation data so that it can
be used to uploaded waypoints into a non-aviation GPS. I just posted it
today at http://www.cockpitgps.com/data/waypoints.htm.

The filtering mechanism is low tech in that it requires you to copy and
paste into a normal text file, but I think it works well. Let me know if
you have any luck with it.

Ah, how jaded we are, that cut & paste should seem low-tech!

Thanks, John, for your work and the resultant website. I have
bookmarked it and will get back to it when time permits.

(Right now I have a date with the snowplow :)
