So the FLARM folks already officially answered your question; but I
want to say that I had a battery run low on me with my PowerFLARM on
recently and I saw no issues. My GT-50 (http://www.fdatasystems.com/

problems.
Is it possible you have some wiring or a small-amp circuit breaker
(0.5a or 1.0a) between the power-bus and the FLARM that's causing a
big voltage-drop?
