ClearNav Instruments is pleased to announce a software solution for
validation and scoring of OLC flights recorded on Cambridge GPSNav
model 10, 20 and 25 flight recorders. Instructions and necessary
files are located on the ClearNav Instruments site here
http://www.clearnav.net/main/cn-CAI-OLC.html

You will find a downloadable utility and a dll that should work on
(almost) any windows PC you are likely to be using, which will convert
your CAI files to OLC valid IGC files. Users please note that this is
an OLC specific solution and should not be used for badge and record
flights.

Special thanks to Guy Byars, Paul Seifried and David Hoppe.

Evan,

I know this is probably a stretch, but has anyone talked to the OLC regarding submitting logs that did not make the cutoff date? Maybe a temporary time window for folks to get there logs submitted. I'll bet there's lots of pilots with log files that are invalid because this solution was just now become available.

Any Thoughts?
Dave

3 Cheers for making this happen. It's quite a service to the OLC pilots of the world using older Cambridge devices. Nice to know my CAI files are valid backups if needed, like this last weekend.

Works great! .. (2) Greens on OLC from my Model 20

Thank you, Evan. Today's flight made it to 17,000' msl, and the OLC called it green. Thanks to your conversion file, no more blue balls.
