View Full Version : Aussie Outback Adventures: US pilots wanted

One of the nicest charter flights we did recently was an Outback Safari
flight, covering most of Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Two Cessna Centurions, two weeks in the saddle, 8 Italians, all seasoned
travellers, enjoying too many bottles of vino...
Quite a nice mix!

We'd like to do that again this year but think it would be even nicer if we
could show fellow pilots some extraordinary sights in this land Down Under
and share the driving. Will make for some neat logbook entries: Alice
Springs to Ayers Rock, for instance.

Any folks interested in getting a few mates together and experience the
Aussie
outback in the best possible way?
If you have some C210 stick time, great. If you'd like to get a
pressurisation endorsement for our P210 we can organize that too.

The best season to fly is in the May- September time frame. Severe CAVOK and
just beeaauutiful!

Just email me at with your queries
and I'll get you some tour tips and travel suggestions including some ideas
about how much moolah to bring (costs are quite reasonable for such a tour!)

Cheers,
Martin
