I remember the sonic boom when the shuttle glided on it's approach to the
east coast as it passed over Fort Myers a couple of years ago.
It's too bad that the shuttle never lived up to its promise of provided
cheap transport to orbit. A magnificent engineering feat, but a dead end for
practical economic purposes, I'm afraid.
