Heard the tail end of a nice number on "All Things Considered" today. The title
was reported as "Sunken Walls", and the theme seemed to be the freedom introduced
by the Wright Bros. first flight. Didn't catch the name of the band, but it hails
from Arizona, if I heard correctly. Might be worth checking out.

Great discoveries are not announced with "Eureka!". What's usually said is
"Hummmmm... That's interesting...."

'Sunken Waltz' and Tucson's Sprawling Suburbs

All Things Considered audio

Jan. 26, 2004

Musician Joey Burns of the band Calexico talks about his song "Sunken
Waltz" -- a tune about the rampant suburban sprawl growing in the
outskirts of the band's home base of Tucson, Ariz.

Not much to do about the Wrights or anything else aeronautical.
