Late 1960's at Edwards AFB. we were cleaning up a B-57 as a gift
to the King of Thailand. Does anyone remember any details? All
I recall is that it had been painted orange, and was stored by the
Navy near San Diego. It had been designated an "NB-57", which
I think made it a modified ship, never to be returned to service. But
it WAS to be returned to service. Oh, what a project!..
