the Legend of LAX[_2_]

It's coming down to the end. In the next couple of days, an exclusive, fun filled look at the 787. Stay tuned.

8441, 8445: ANZ is promoting the next set of movies

8482 - 8493: grafitti all over this A380. I don't know who these people are, but I'm guessing they're Aussies.

8590: WTFO? A Mercedes pickup truck? I know, it's not an airplane. But it was at an airport (okay, near one).

8592: Oh look! Glock has their own airplane.

8593: A Dornier 328Jet

Australians have very nice penmanship.

I may have misspoken - It would seem that there will only be one Hobbit
movie.

One at a time that is.
I understand Jackson has planned to stretch a trilogy out of The
Hobbit. It could be pressure from the studio, because it doesn't make
sense in terms of the book.

Director Jackson is planning to break the book into three movies. A
more bald-faced grab for bucks I haven't seen in quit a while.

screenrant.com/hobbit-3-movie-trilogy/

For the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, it worked. For the essentially
overly wordy short story that is "the Hobbit" i predict mass death by
nap-neck in theaters worldwide.

I can't see any pictures in this thread, apart from Bob's (which I don't
understand).

But if the pihot is standing next to... who's driving the... 8^o

Wondering if Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection at Paine Field
will have some new toys this year for the Fly Days. William Sessions'
Historic Flight Foundation across the runway there has their DC-3
restored and flying, but haven't seen her yet.

Just wish the bum ticker would play nice and allow me to heft the
Bigma lens without panting...

Haven't been to Skagit since 2009; would be great to get back up
there. Looks like there won't be any military presence anywhere this
year, though. Remembering the pair of Hornets at BVS back in 2007...
they were having fun!

Looking forward to whatever comes,

Bob ^,,^

Nice little airport out in the boonies of the Pacific Northwest. Known
for occasionally staging a nice little fly-in.
