Yo Casey - If you're redoing the panel and this thing still
has the old sheet-aluminum panel, do replace it with flanged
fiberglass panel for your safety...
See ya, Dave

Not sure if you are referring to a lifting panel or not but here
are a couple of links, the first for lifting panel diagrams and the
second for a replacement non-lifting panel.

Severn Valley Sailplanes made mine and CNC cut (instrument cutouts & mounting holes) to the specs I sent. Fast, friendly, reasonably priced and shipped to the USA.

Their shop closed on 1st Oct (temporarily it says) but the rest of the
site seems to be up and running.
Do you know if/when the shop is going to return? Bit of a bugger if it
doesn't because they've always been my first stop if I need stuff for my
glider.

We (my buddy and I) have a Discus B that was retrofitted with a fiberglass panel that has the thigh-protector shaping on the bottom. It had gotten pretty cut up with modifications so we made a female mold, and have made replicants ... and if you want one give me an email.
