Great image Jess. Was there any information about when and where this pic was
shot? The planes look to be about the right vintage and the background looks
suspiciously like a very early McClellan AFB outside of Sacramento. If this is a
shot of planes being prepared for the Doolittle Raid that would be a great find.

Sorry, don't have any info, but now that you
mentioned Doolittle, I will start looking
around for the provenance. Just a wild guess
(based on the tractor alone) but I think it
is later than the Raiders.

The original I have is a png file which may have
some meta-data hidden inside. Thanks for the
kick in the butt (ooops) memory.
