For US PowerFLARM, does software 2.6 in the core now allow updating the external Butterfly display without having to use a special cable?

So 4Q 2012 is on the Mayan calendar... ;^)

Is there a non-beta 2.6 released yet?

Another configuration question:

Is the following PCAS setting still needed in 2.6 beta:

# configure PCAS sensitivity test setting
$ADSB,CONFIGURE,MTLAC,300

The current configuration tool on the PF website does not include this in a FLARMCFG.TXT file.

Also, the max PCAS range is 7.5 km (about 4.7 miles) on the tool. Max range used to be 9620m, which is almost 6 miles. Which is correct, or does it make any difference?

Since the PCAS function doesn't work (at least not well enough to
replace a Zaon MRX) it makes no difference.

seems to work for me. Albeit, I only tried it out at aguila but got two hits on a helo and power plane about 3 miles south while parked on my ramp:)
