FBO in Birmingham England

[Jerry Jesion]

I will be in Birmingham England next week and would like to know if
there are any FBOs there where I could get a plane and an instructor.
Any suggestions??

It is a bit thin at Birmingham Airport, they discourage GA and it is
expensive.

Better bets are Wolverhampton, the biggest and best GA airfield with a
number of FBO/schools or Coventry.

My contacts in that part of the UK suggest that your best bet is Coventry,
Wellesbourne or Wolverhampton airports rather than Birmingham itself.

Group - all at Coventry would offer the same thing - probably at a higher

These are individual companies (one or several) located on airdromes
that rent airplanes, give instruction, fix and inspect birds, sell
gas, etc.

The abbreviation has been used for so long here in the US that we
forget there are others that don't know the etymology.
