Folks looking to do something with those Blanik L-13's might gain some
inspiration from this guy:

Use excess wings to build perimeter of sandbox for Small Aircraft Directorate to play in. Make it big enough that EASA guys can stop by and play too.

Btw... if anyone comes across a summary of inspection results for the L-13s undergoing modification in those advanced, civilized parts of the world where modifications are allowed and approved, I'd love to see it. The long service history of the L-13 suggests that whatever problem occurred in the accident glider is not widespread.

I think my friend who bought a hangar full of blanik parts about 2 months before the grounding would disagree with you. he's seen a lot of the carry-throughs.

If he gets that thing fast enough and it gets off the ground the FAA
is going to be upset because that tail number is already taken! And
the registration is expired!

Which was sort of the point of asking...

A Darius type wind turbine. It can double as an accelerated fatigue fixture.

I was invited to drive that car back when Craig "Speedycop" was
starting to build it up. Unfortunately, I had to be in Seattle last
weekend to give a talk on the HP-24 kit sailplane project and to
discuss its self-launch and sustainer variants.

However, this weekend I am suiting up to drive one of two twin-engined
Toyotas at a west coast race in the same 24 Hours of LeMons racing
series. That time I spent in the right seat of a Cessna Mixmaster is
gonna come in handy!

Thanks, Bob K.

Wings could be used for landsailers,

and the fuse might make a cool enclosure for a motorcycle drivetrain.

There's actually a thriving market in re-purposed aircraft bits for high end furniture. http://www.motoart.com/
