View Full Version : Cobra trailer wing dolly plastic sidewall rollers?

April 28th 13, 07:08 PM
When I was at the Perry contest last week, another pilot mentioned to me that the wing dolly plastic rollers that run in side channels to keep the dolly upright had worn out, causing his wing dollies to bind when rolling in/out of the trailer. We looked at mine, and they are badly worn as well, so I'd like to get replacements.

Does anyone happen to know the dimensions and material for these items? I'd rather get the parts from McMaster-Carr if available, as I suspect I could get them much cheaper/faster than all the way from the factory.

TIA,

Frank

I wound up getting Delrin rod stock from McMaster-Carr and fabricating my own replacement rollers - worked great! ;-). If anyone is interested in replacements for their own Cobra trailer, let me know.

I have the same issue and looking for replacements. Do you have some available?
Thank you, Gyorgy

Did you consider Rollerblade wheels? They *look* about the same.

I made some for the Cobra trailer I am working on. Just got some 3/4 inch diameter nylon bar, cut off a quarter inch thick slice, drill a hole in the middle for the bolt, and install. Of course, it works much easier when you can remove the parts from the sidewall first...
