Hello,
I am new to thie board.
Recently I moved to SLC from Orlando. I always wanted to try Bush/mountain
Flying and was wondering if anyone here knew of a flightschool where I can
get mountain flying lessons.
I am a CMEL with IFR @400hrs.
Also, if there is someone in this area who would be interested in doing some
time-building with me, I would be very happy to hear from you.
Greetings from Salt Lake City.

Google said my original response to this message didn't go through,
so I'll try again. See the Utah Backcountry Pilots Assoc. They're on
the web at:

Thanks. I just opened that site, so it must be working. I will check it out.

In Provo, there's an AFROTC detatchment at the nearby university, and
UVSC has a Part 141 school, so that might be an option, if you're
willing to drive 50 miles south.
SLC #2, in Sandy, might also give you what you need. To the North,
there's the Ogden airport, I think it's just north of Hill AFB.
I don't know of any others.
