Would a certificate of appreciation, signed by myself, authenticated by
the steering comitee of my photographers association, change her mind ?
(On the contrary, too much effort could look suspicious to her eyes...)
(It reminds when my chief used to write and sign excuse notes on the
back of beer coasters...)

Unfortunately there is nothing that would change my wife's mind - she's
only ever been wrong once, and then she only thought that she was wrong!
