Wahay! I had my first flying lesson. I saved up for a 30 minute Trial Lesson
and I loved it!
Does anyone have any advice for a young adult to begin his career as a
commercial Pilot in the UK?
It would be greatly appreciated, and as soon as I finish my A-Levels I will
be off to study and practice for my Private flying licence :D
Kind Regards,

You'll need all the flight time you can muster. Many of your compatriots go
off-shore to train and build flight-time as it's considerably cheaper. They
return after gaining a modicum of experience.

We have had a number of pilots come to get their license at the school I
fly out of in Central Ontario. One told me that even with the air fare it
cost her less to come here and get her license than to get it in the UK.
Last time I compared (at Kidlington last May) it was about 2.5 times as
much to fly in the UK.

Thank you for your advice :)
I have about £5000 ready to start for my Private licence. How much more
would I have to spend to obtain a commercial licence?
