Hello All,
I couple of weeks ago I posted updated US airspace information for the charting cycle effective December 12, 2013. This is now available on the Airspace section of the Worldwide Soaring Turnpoint Exchange and on my website at http://www.soaringdata.info.
Current US airport data in formats that support virtually all glide
computers and loggers as well as many recreation-style GPS devices may
also be found by following the link under the Airport Information
section on my website.
I have also updated the digital sectional charts on my site. For this cycle I have added low-resolution JPG files for use with Google Earth. These files load faster and are free from truncation problems caused by the 8192 pixel limit Google Earth imposes for overlays. Other formats for sectionals include .CMR format for SeeYou and georeferenced TIFF format for graphical information systems like Global Mapper.
The sectional charts have been reprojected from the original Lambert conformal conic to a rectangular projection, and edge material has been trimmed so that they can be seamlessly tiled.
As always, all of this is completely free, and redistributable.
Happy Downloading!
