I can't remember where I saw it but is calibration check on the 302 now required every 5 years vs. 2 ?
Also who still does them?

Not sure about intervals but Gary Kammerer at Clearnav can hook you up

I've always understood that rule to mean that for badges you're OK
provided its less than 5 years since it was last calibrated or, if it was
calibrated more than 5 years ago, you get the logger calibrated within
the next month after the flight.
Others can talk about contests.

a lot of pilots waste money getting loggers and barographs calibrated for
no reason. Most never turn in a flight for a badge or record ever and even
those who do can have the calibration done AFTER the flight they want to
turn in just as easily as having it done ahead of time. The calibration
doesn't change or improve the logger in any way, it simply shows how much
its trace is off from actual pressure altitude. As far as I know even
contest flown that might brequire a secure logger don't require a
calibration to be legal.
