CBAV down?

The last few weeks I've been getting either the text
[image]
instead of an actual radar image, or the note that "my handheld couldn't
connect to the server" (when I had a good signal and could send and receive
Email, so I was connecting to something) whenever I used CBAV. Anybody else
have this problem? Is the service down? I'm using v. 0.3

The latest problem was that the URL from which NEXRAD images are fetched
had changed. That was fixed about a week ago.

The problem you're describing above sounds like a connectivity issue
with your Palm Pilot...

Jose,

We're having the same problem. We upgraded to the new version and it
doesn't help. The METAR and TAF features work fine, but we can't get
NEXRAD images.

Let us know what you find out...

March 24, 12:14 AM EDT v 0.3 trying to get radar images from DXR (Danbury CT)
and vincinity, I get the message "Your handheld could not connect to the
server. Wait a few minutes and ty again (iNet 1413)". However, the iMessenger
service works fine, so I am connecting to the Palm server fine.

Yes, it's happening "Right This Minute"

I too have not been able to use the NEXRAD feature for about a week
now. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Yes, Intellicast keeps changing the URL for the images. This was
fixed a few days ago, but it might have broken again. Can you try
and report back?

I'm having the same problem. Over the weekend, the NEXRAD image was okay.
Today, all I get is the . I have emailed the guys.
