The needle fell off my 302 today, just sitting behind the plastic bezel. Anyone know how to remove that bezel so I can re-seat the needle?

You are not the first. A SMALL drop of cyanoacrylate glue will hold it
when replaced. However, you have to completely disassemble the unit to fix
it, after which it will need an agent to electronically reseal (and best to
replace the memory battery at the same time).

Suggest you ask Gary at Clearnav, who is the US repair agent, or Klaus Keim
or Dickie Feakes if in Europe.

I can also repair it and change the backup battery and re-seal it.

I had the same experience a year or two ago and sent the unit to Gary as
suggested and got a quick turn-around.

Now I wonder... Since I'm not interested in contests or records and have
all my diamonds, couldn't I have simply done the job myself? Wouldn't the
unit still provide igc files acceptable to OLC and Skylines?
