View Full Version : FBO around Tampa?

July 2nd 04, 02:10 AM
Making a first time visit to Florida for a business conference and
always give myself an extra day to do some local flying with an
instructor. Any recommendations for an airport and FBO around Tampa?
I'll have to get there by cab. Thanks!

Too bad they don't rent or instruct, but the finest FBO I have ever patronized,
and the best service I have ever gotten, was at Raytheon at Tampa
International.

I went to Peter Knight (TPF) during SUN N FUN.. They were GREAT. Close to
downtown too.
Nice people, great service and free one nite with gas purchase. Fair price
too.

I enjoyed flying with American Flying Adventures (www.amfly.com).
They're based at St.Petes (KPIE) which I would guess is
about a $30 cab ride from downtown Tampa.

Try acukwik.com...you can do a "power search" to find airports within
a specified radial proximity of any address in the world.
