But you can't get a Cell Internet connection at 10,000'!

Palm.Net connections at 10,000 were not bad in many areas...

I know. Its unfortunate they are making a mistake of shutting down
the palm.net network. It will take allot of effort for me to
downgrade to a rechargeable battery device. I like alkalines, and I
hate rechargeables.
