Four things I remember most from my "airline" career:

July 22, 1986 Start-valve open light after takeoff. Right engine
shutdown. Air-turn-back. CSP, WY Frontier Air Lines

November 15, 1987 Last departure from DEN before fatal DC9 crash
CAL

August ?, 1987 Non-reving DEN-SEA A300 V1+ cut (gen
failure). Ran off end of 35R. DEN (Stapleton) CAL

July 30, 2001 Flight attendant and I got shot in hip while being
transported on crew van from layover hotel to ORD 0440 hours.
Flight was recrewed and left 4 hrs later CAL

NO PURPLE HEARTS WERE ISSUED NOR REQUESTED!!!

Now then, I'm still planning to do some limited commercial flying, so
my career may possibly have more..........uhh........"memories."

Sooner,

Ricardo

ps: even as I finish this, I'm starting to remember a whole lot more
stuff, but why state anything else that may end up forwarded to the
hapless flying public.

Hmmmm! I'm thinking about the "Two Bellies with One Spear" scenario, and on the crew
van, yet. Those were the good old days, for sure. ;>

Well, had he been G. Dubya Shrub, he would have never been shot in the
first place, since he would have been passed out from booze and
cocaine.

You almost make it sound like there's something bad about passing out
from booze and cocaine.

I heard W went to parties where cocaine was passed around, but he never
inhaled it.

It's just like they say - there really is no difference between the
Republicans and Democrats anymore.

Here in California, we say Jerry Brown, a former governor, never exhaled.
