What V-12 engine Jim Stewart used in his S-51? I think it was was
marine V-12 made in sweden.

I'm not sure Jim ever got the V-12 running in the airframe before he
sold the business. I know he was very interested in it and the engine
seemed a natural for the job since it was a boat engine, which saw
extreme use at high power settngs.

Nice idea, just don't know if it ever happened. I don't even know if
the Stewart S-51 is available anymore.

Corky is correct. He was beginning to test when he sold the company. The
new owners had other ideas about what engine to use......Of course they
aren't using anything now. If you're interested in a V12 you should look at
Ryan Falconar's engine (used in the thunder Mustang) and it is available.
