I'm trying to put together a web site explaining what we all stand to lose
if we lose access to the Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File.

Please have a look at http://navaid.com/dafif.html and let me know what
you think.

Anybody else out there making programs/web sites that rely on DAFIF data,
I'd especially appreciate hearing from you.

There are many types of bigotry, some of them completely OK and
acceptable. This is the acceptable type called "postjudice".

My thoughts:

If the people of the US paid to have the data compiled, they are
entitled to use it.

If the Australian AIP producers are suing Jeppesen for copyright
infringement, that shouldn't affect data generated by the US
government.

What would it take to become a legitimate contractor for a state or
federal agency?
