Watching the news last night ...
First up - Authorities have released the names of the 3 killed in a Sennica
crash. (3rd crash in that part of the country in (I think) about as many
months)
Second up - Video footage from the funeral of the 2 killed in a 172 crash
several days ago.
Third up - Small jet fails to get airbourne somewhere in the USA and takes a
trip across a highway and into a building.
Not a good week for aviation :(

OTOH, our local newspaper had a beautiful photo of an Arrow waiting to
take-off in the early morning as a C-172 was landing. They got the details
right too! (except for capitalizing Cessna).

Didn't you read the caption?
"cessna nearly hits Arrow while landing at local airport. Airport manager
says this happens all the time"

Heh heh, they did mention the fog, but missed the fact that the Arrow's gear
was up.
