I need help.
Garmin finally send the CDROM "in flight Demo"
I put it into my HP CD Writer plus and it will not run.
If I go to MY Computer and click on drive E it says the drive is not ready.
Other CDROMs work fine,
Any comments.

Either:
a) They sent you a bad CD (it's happened before)
or
b) You've got the CD in upside down
:-)
(Sure it's not a DVD?)

I installed a multi function CD&DVD +-R&RW . It has big problems
reading many of my old CDs and I have to revert to my old machine,
sharing out its CD drive. I've been told this is because there are two
technologies used for CDs these days: pits in a metal layer, and
photographic "pits". The latter is common because it is very cheap.

None of the above. Borrowed a portable and it works fine, but the sound is
terrible.
