Oudie 5.19 has a bug that does not allow you to type in waypoint names. Naviter said the bug will be fixed soon, but I woudl advise holding off on updating till the problem is fixed.

Too late, and that explains why I could see the waypoint list but could not enter anything in a task.
I need to clean out the waypoint list and start over. Back to the books!

Hi,
SeeYou Mobile version 5.2 is available and it fixes the issue with the
"Filter" button. It works great again.
When I upgraded my Oudie, the Oudie Updater showed that it was going to
upgrade to version 5.19, but it in fact upgraded to 5.2.

Glad that it is fixed in 5.2. Seems that the version at http://www.naviter..com/install-the-latest-firmware-for-oudie/ is 5.00.012. I had to use the software updater to get v5.2. No release notes on V5.2. You gotta love Naviter.
FYI that you can downgrade to earlier SYM versions pretty simply, it isn't a one way street.
1) Charge up the battery on the Oudie. Loosing power half way through an upgrade might be bad mojo.
2) Connect your Oudie to your computer.
3) Copy the old exe version of the software to the root of the TFAT drive.
4) Make sure the name of the file you want to load is UpdateOudie.exe.
5) Power down (not sleep) your Oudie.
6) Then power it back up and the old software will ask to be loaded.
Anyone know that it might be bad to downgrade across the V5 to V4 boundary? I am an electronics pack rat and have previous versions of the SYM software back to v4.10.013 and up to v5.20.01 stored at http://derosaweb.net/aviation/naviter/software. Is there a Naviter site where they store these files?
Enjoy, John
