There are several polishes on the markat that will provide temporary
improvement of slight scratches, and perhaps offer some protection to the
plastic. For serious scratches or crazing or milkyness, you need a
"micromesh kit". Practice on something cheap first!

Get a micromesh scratch removal kit and be sure to follow the
instructions to a "T".

Johnsons lemon pledge works great for the day to day minor scratches.
Used it for many years on the Lama.
There is a trick for using it, as if you just wipe it on it will leave
finger prints and collect dust. The trick, first apply and wipe dry with
a cotton cloth, then go over the area with a damp cloth followed with
another dry cloth. I found this hardens the wax ( similar to a military
boot shine ) and will eliminate any finger prints or collection of dust,
also makes the bugs wash off a lot easier.
