Best part of Sunday's couple-hour escape from rehab (seems gravity and
I are no longer on speaking terms) up to PAE was not just the B-29,
but that ANZ's new blackbird hadn't been delivered yet, and decided to
head out while I was there.

A fair down payment for the last six weeks of total crap...

Pretty much sums it up.

Next air show, I'll likely be on wheels, dammit.

At least I finally got Agent up and running on ye olde laptope so I
can keep you folks from misbehaving.

I can understand the traditional colour scheme, but that must put a huge
load on the air conditioners.

I believe this is a one-off in honor of their national soccer team(?)
A bit too out of it to go goggling.

OK, makes sense. If it's in honour of the All Blacks, it's for their Rugby
team.

Rugby of course, is a football code - played by men.

'A' football code? It's THE football code!

As for being played by men: look up Wayne Shelford and his scrotum injury.

When I worked in a local hotel the son of the house was a skilled rugby
player, and I particularly liked one of his T-shirts which had written
on the back, particularly for American visitors:

"Rugby: no helmets, no padding, just balls".
