I have a subaru EJ22 on a MadMaxII gyro. I just replaced the
distributor and can only get about 4000 rpm's out of the engine. Can
anyone tell me what the timing curve is on this engine??

Thanks - Randy

Randy, I run an EJ-22 on my gyro, but it has an after market Airflow
Performance FI and 2 Electroair ignition systems. The timing is set
via the timing belt pulleys and the marks on the pulleys as to TDC,
but I don't know what's involved when you have a distributor. Check
the group below and someone should be able to give you the info. The
whole forum is nothing but Subaru engines as related to aircraft.
