Rose City Soaring will be having our "End of Summer" party weekend August 23rd and 24th. WX permitting there will be a GTA style race on the 23rd and 24th. If there is enough interest we can also race on Friday the 22nd.

The preliminary plan is for the A class to run a Grand Prix derivative race.. Assigned Task with fifteen minute start gate window. We will use the SSA Contest Tracker to make the event exciting for the crews.

B class will be designed to accommodate the skill level of the participants..

Rose City Soaring is located in Southwest Georgia with plenty of flat landout areas. I have a modified waypoint database with a few more agricultural strips. You can download the database files from the turnpoint exchange and then ask me for the most current CUP file to complete your database.

Tows are $40. I am trying to get the margarita machine back in operation. Last party burned it up! Full shower available. Bunk room for five available. PDA/Cross Country/Race Task instruction freely given.

The forecast is looking the best I have seen in several years. If you live in the Southeast and are not near the Monroe GTA race then think about attending the Bainbridge Fun Fly. We will fly a race task Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I just sent the Margarita Machine off to get it repaired and the seafood is ready to be boiled.
