I don't think I want to be around this guy when he's flying.

Can someone please explain the purpose of the onion to me? Is it
strictly humor, or just to see the "other perspective" of some things? I
don't get it. Does that guy really fly, or is he just an underpaid
reporter that had to turn in something funny by Friday, and thought of
"something funny" when he saw the local news helicopter on his way to
work? Is it even a real person, or is the onion comprised of whatever
funny thing may come along? Again, I just don't get it.

If the rest of the headlines on "The Onion" don't give you a clue then
you're probably too clueless to operate a helo to begin with.
