I fly with a Sage CV vario. I love the sensitivity over the my Winter but the screen is very dark and hard to see. Is there anyway to add a light or make it easier to read?

You may want to have the inside barrel and/or face plate colors changed. May be a good to do it over the winter. http://www.sagevariometers.com/sagemodl.htm#cv1

Have a look at the Williams Soaring website. There's a white face available.
Another thing to consider is putting nonreflective film (like that for a PDA) on the glass.

Dennis,
There is an audio now available from Williams Soaring that one can purchase that couples with the Sage Varios. I purchased one with the new 2.5 CV vario and will install it this winter. It promises to give audio signal to the highly acclaimed vario without having to look at the vario itself. Hope this helps!
