Is a color Kobo Useable in the cockpit?
I'm very happy with my Streak 5 but, at $14.99 (yup, that's under $15)
in the US, who's willing to give it a shot?

Be aware that this is actually a "Kobo compatible" device from a company called "Slick", might be worth $15, might not be...

Hi Dan,
for $15 it might look like worth playing around with it, just so you don't miss out on anything.
I googled a bit and found: Poor Battery life (30 mins reding), bad screen resolution, unresponsive touch screen, unstable, not Kobo hardware or anything close. I think I'll skip this one.
Read the comments on Amazon, if you want more ...

The key thing about the Kobo is the e-ink screen which is very low power and like printed paper in the sun.
There is no mention of the screen technology in that ad. Being that cheap, it is probably a low quality LCD so no good for battery or sun.
