If the CAI 302 follows the same technology as the GPS 25 and 20's then give
this a try.
Connect up a PC to the CAI using the serial cable, configure Hyperterm or
your favorite terminal emulator, you just need ascii capabilities.
Get to a command prompt, I think it is just hitting escape and type the
following command into the terminal window
rset gps
This should reset the gps, leave it outside connected up to a battery and
let it search the sky until it is happy. I got this fix from Cambridge at
the time of the last GPS rollover and it worked.
