We have a Borgelt B500 in one of our club ships which is giving us a headache! The rear seat repeater is not working properly, at power on it goes to full down and chuggs for a while and then stops and doesn´t respond. The main unit up front is working as it is supposed to so we are currently flying with the repeater disconnected.
We´ve updated the main unit with the last software update but I´m not able to connect the repeater to the computer. Maybe this is not necessary? The manual for the B500 is not giving much information about the repeater and I´ve not been able to find a specific manual for the repeater.
The repeater is connected directly to the main units RJ45 socket marked with a red band which is also the same as used when connecting to a computer, therefore I´ve not been able to connect everything to a computer. Is there supposed to be a splitter or something ong the RJ45 cable to the rear seat? In that case it is missing in our installation.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we can make the repeater work as it is supposed to?
Kind regards
