I hope Christmas was as great for you as it was for me. I enjoy
lurking your posts about your training adventures.

My favorite Christmas helicopter story happened at a certain airport
near me which will remain nameless. I think it was once an annual event at
the airport. You know how it goes; a guy in a Santa suit drops in on a
bunch of excited kids gathered for the occasion outside the hanger, Santa
emerges from the chopper to distribute gifts to the little boys and girls.
Only this time; Santa's pilot made a hard landing and, to the horror of the
kids, Santa got taken away to the hospital to deal with minor injuries. As
I recall, another amateur Santa happened to be driving by the airport on his
way to a party or something, was attracted by the activity, and stepped in
to save the day for the kids.

Seems like there may be more work for Santas than pilots. How many hours do
I have to do to get qualified as a St. Nick, and do they have medical?
